Juice Jacking: Hacking the Defcon Attendee's Smartphones

Would you trust a public charging kiosk? Of course not! However you would be surprise how many security "professionals" have been caught in a moment of weakness and plugged in for a quick charge without thinking.

The concept originated on July 4th, and within a month (with some help) a 'malicious' charging kiosk was designed and deployed in the most untrusted and paranoid environment we could find, DefCon. This presentation will go over basics of the build, information learned during the deployment of the "juice jacker" and goal of the project. It may be rumored that we've designed a better kiosk, so keep your eyes out and cell phones secured.
