Dr. Erik Wu recently joined a stealth deception startup, working on the next-generation active defense technologies. Prior to his new endeavor, he built anInternet-scale platform for emerging threats collection, analysis, andenforcement at Nominum. Dr. Wu is one of the main brains behind severalcurrent technologies being widely-deployed to protect against DNS-basedattacks. He brings many years' experience in the cyber security industryincluding chief scientist at Damballa, principal scientist/researcher atMcAfee, and head of advanced threat research at Trend Micro. Dr Wu has a PhDfrom Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and was a visiting scientist at MITComputer Science Lab.
