CANCELLED - Let's Write Some IOS Malware

SOURCE Boston 2013

Presented by: Christien Rioux
Date: Tuesday April 16, 2013
Time: 16:30 - 17:30
Location: Library

This talk is a live exploration of what is possible in IOS malware. While great examples of IOS malware may not exist in the iTunes App Store, it doesn't mean they couldn't start showing up.

A live-coding session will create a few pieces of baseline malware to demonstrate what is possible using what appear to be innocuous techniques. A few techniques that can be use to obfuscate what a piece of malware is capable of doing will be demonstrated live as well.

This talk is for anyone that would like to understand the scope of IOS malware, and how programs that are trying to obscure what they do are able to do so.
