The avalanche of disclosures over the recent years has made it clear that encryption is the way forward for those who wish to protect their data and their communications. This presentation will take a look at the Tor anonymity network and mobile apps for secure communications. In addition, the presentation will discuss ways in which you can use these tools to protect yourself and those around you, whether you are a journalist with high-risk sources or someone who wants to browse Facebook more securely.
