Research says that much of what we communicate is non-verbal. While we’ve not found the human equivalent of a lie detector there are indicators of facial muscular movement, gestures, voice and speech that uncover hot spots, or signs that something is amiss; that the full story is not being told. Typical hot spots are momentary conflicts between the words spoken and the sound of the voice, the gesture, or the facial expression. Body language is vital for social engineers in order to understand what is communicated without words and gives the power to understand emotions regardless of what an individual says. This talk will provide an in-depth analysis of body language of a real and controversial news event selected one week prior to the conference. Live on stage, the HumanHacker will identify signs of comfort, discomfort, deception and confidence that will reveal what people are REALLY saying.
