It’s hard out there for a retailer. For one thing, there are particular challenges to securing a retail business, starting with thin margins and widely distributed environments, and ending with the overriding need to keep customers happy. For another, retailers are the targets of attacks both from criminals around the world and from those same customers. From fraud to supply-chain shenanigans, we’ll look at the security challenges in this sector, and how threat intelligence sharing is becoming part of its defense strategy.
