Andrea Matwyshyn

Dr. Andrea M. Matwyshyn is a leading academic studying corporate information security regulation and privacy law. She is an assistant professor in the Legal Studies and Business Ethics Department in the Wharton School and an affiliate of the Center for Technology, Innovation and Competition at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. In addition to her appointment at the University of Pennsylvania, she is a member of the board of advisors of the EU-funded Network of Excellence in Internet Science project at the Oxford Internet Institute and a faculty affiliate of the Center for Internet and Society at Stanford Law School. She has been studying information security as an academic since 2003. Prior to entering academia, she was a corporate attorney in private practice counseling clients on privacy and information security planning. She hearts gadgets.
