Fewer women enter the Computer Science field today then they did in 1980, and this is reflected in the makeup of the security industry. Why is this? Why does it matter? How does it impact the industry, and how does it challenge individual women in the field? What can we do as a community to welcome women into the field, and keep those who do enter it from burning out?
