Serverless applications offer a number of fantastic benefits that let you focus almost exclusively on solving your user’s problems. Relieved of the daily operations burden of traditional deployments, teams often think that security is taken care of inherently in the design. Nothing could be further from the truth.

In this talk, we’ll explore how to model and apply security in severless applications. Specifically we’ll look at how you can evaluate and manage security across services, how trust changes as more 3rd parties becoming involved, and how your security tools must adapt to the reality of a distributed environment.

Security for serverless applications is a unique challenge. If properly addressed, you can radically reduce your risks and ensure that your user’s data is safe. In this talk, you’ll get a jump start on delivering more resilient serverless applications.
