Who knew you could create a lean startup without even knowing it--even one that is structured as a nonprofit? Over the last five years, Youth Code Jam has worked (and is still working) to answer the question "Should this be built and how can it be sustainable?" Doubling in size every year, Youth Code Jam seeks to foster an interest in technology by introducing upper elementary through high school students to programming languages. By helping kids get excited about computer science and building confidence in their skills, they can begin to imagine themselves in the emerging technology-driven jobs of tomorrow. Today's presentation is one of continuing to validate our learning, where to pivot and how to persevere. We are looking to you to provide a feedback loop and help us answer key questions.
