Debi Pfitzenmaier is an ambassador for tech education. After spending the last 30 years as a public relations consultant, she sort of stumbled into teaching kids to code five years ago. Since then, she's built a movement around reaching kids, parents and professionals. Earlier this year, The White House recognized her efforts with Youth Code Jam, where she now serves as executive director. She's received a Texas Social Media Award, was named San Antonio's Best Blogger and once was asked to star in a Chinese movie. Debi appreciates colorful folders, kind people, a good night's rest and beautiful origami.
